Back then, the Palace was built by communists and it is known as one of the most impressive and questionable constructions in the world.  It is a memorable symbol for people in Romania. The Palace of the Parliament is the second-largest administrative building in the world after the Pentagon building. The Palace has 370,000 square meters and is 84 meters high. The building was built heavily in order to resist a devastating earthquake.
